Great, but hard to fill...

I love the travel kit. The paper in the notebook is nice. Everything seems solidly made and fit for purpose. I love the little travel brush. I love that I can take it anywhere.

It lost one star for me because the metal part that holds in the paint pans make it so that some of those paint pans are exceptionally difficult to fill. It's possibly that I could force this piece out of the kit to have easier access to fill, but there is no intuitive way to remove it and I hesitate to use force when it might result in breaking it all togther.

Very Well Made Travel Equipment

I bought 2 sets - one for each car. I bought the empty well sets and filled with the watercolors that work for me. There are enough wells so that you can mix to any color with your selections. I use the water fillable travel brushes and use the water holder to rinse before changing colors.

A very positive experience

I bought a Nomad Artist kit for my daughter-in-law as a Christmas present in early December, thinking it would have plenty of time to get to us in time. As it got close to Christmas, there was no indication that the oder was going to make it in time. I got in touch with Cynthia at ArtMate, who immediately responded to my concern, assuring me that they keep track of the orders and our was not lost. Over the next week I was in touch with Cynthia 2 more times, each time getting an immediate and personal response. Indeed, the order was not lost, and , while it was a few days late, it was very happily received. My DIL is very happy with the gift and looking forward to using it. While delays are out of everyone's hand, I did appreciate the immediate attention to my concern.
